Monty 964 Muffler
As I scout changes to make to a still-in-the-hunt-for C2, exhaust is one area of upgrade. Noticed today that Monty makes a 964 muffler ($650) for under the rear bumper. Anyone using one and comments pro/con, also comments on loudness? (I have to keep in mind an 89db limit at Lime Rock) Another option, known quantity, would be the Fabspeed muffler ($895).

While I can't comment on the Monty for the C2, I liked the one I was running on my 2.7l. The build quality is very nice, it seemed put together better than the B&B that's going on the new engine. It was louder than stock, but not overbearingly riceboy or muscle-car loud. I also liked the fact that it didn't have the fake 'buzz' that some of the aftermarket systems have.
