DAS Rollbar For Sale
Before I put it on the Rennlist classifieds, I thought I'd offer it here first. This DAS rollbar fits 964/993's with sunroof, and, as a bolt-in rollbar, does not harm your interior, ie, when you take it out you wouldn't know it's been there. It's well constructed and strong. This one does not have harness loops. I can provide some pics before I take it out. I'll be upgrading to a rollcage, which is why it's available. It's painted with Rustoleum Satin Black, which makes any touch ups a breeze. The lower cross bar, which attaches to the body via the seat belt spool bolts, is a great place to mount your fire extinguisher. Performance is showing them at $960, and since they don't wear out I'm thinking around $800. I'd really prefer to sell it to someone who can pick it up - I'm in the Danbury, Connecticut area. If interested or have questions, please email me directly.

Bill I am interested in the roll bar. I have a 95 993 coupe w/ sunroof. Any pics of it installed? I am wondering how forward I would need the seats to be for it to clear the horizontal brace?
Of course David has first shot at it...
thanks

Bill,
What kind of roll cage are you going with? I came across a killer deal for a safety device cage. I just had it powder coated and I'm awaiting interior parts (i.e., rs carpet and headliner). The bad thing about this deal is that it came from a non sunroof RSA. I am now deleting my sunroof. I'll post some pictures when completed.

I'll snap some pictures this weekend. Due to the way the 964/993 bar fits, there's no seat issues, unlike the pre-89's and SRD's, for example (having had that in my SC)

C'mon guys!!
...this is the good 'ol VERY popular and HIGHLY desired DAS rollbar that we all know and love.
They rarely are up for sale USED, so my advice would be to JUMP on it!!
The 964/993 versions are the same, your only concern is whether or not you have a sunroof, and if you like the harness loops or not...I suggest going with them.
It is easily removable and quite the ingenious design...even PCA Club Sport legal...now that's a plus!
Remember about a year ago when I was furiously searching for one?? Notta one.
Bill, I have a Safety-Devices cage, one warning, it is NOT NASA legal due to the diagonal brace starting at the top of the main hoop and running to the right rear leg...I have to add a diagonal from the top of the hoop to the right leg on the main hoop now, a bit aggravating to me!! <img border="0" alt="[grrrrrrr]" title="" src="graemlins/cussing.gif" />
...after ALL that damned work.
