Pelican has a new extra low clearance, high lift floor jack. Has anyone bought one? If yes, what do you think of them?

Rob,
A few guys on the 996TT board have them, along with the jackstands, and are very happy.
Here is a link to a website for the jacks, jackstands, jackplates, etc:

Don't know how they compare to the price at Pelican.

Burning Brakes
I have the 20Q model (2.2 tons with quicklift pedal), and it's by far the nicest jack I've ever owned. The low saddle fits underneath my lowered C2, the release mechanism is adjustable and easy to control, and the lift handle is easy to grip and long (making it easier to lift the car). Rubber wheels, so it's not as noisy as steel wheeled jacks I've had before. Flat rubber jacking pad, which mates up nicely with the flat jacking points on 964's as well as when jacking up the rear of the car by the engine.
It's definitely a top of the line, high quality jack. I've gone through 2 of the Sears $100 floor jacks that failed after about a year (1 year warranty of course ), so I decided to go ahead and spring for a better one this time.
I also bought a set of the flat posted jack stands from ultimate garage. They're the only jack stands I would use on a 964.
