Thumbs up 3.8 Liter Conversion

I was in the shop the other day during visiting hours to see my "patient". In the bed next to my motor, was another 3.6 liter engine. The surgeons were fitting an FVD 3.8 conversion kit. Sweeeeet!

As if 3.8 wasn't enough grunt. The owner is also having a supercharger installed! (I'll see if I can snap a photo of it next time I stop by the shop) I'd really like to meet the owner of that little monster!

I was told that the piston heads have been machined to be slightly "concave" which will lower the compression ration down to approximately 10:1 in order to accomodate the extra volume the supercharger will add to the charge.

I don't know about you guys, but I'd love to get a ride in the finished product!

3.8l + supercharger is simply being greedy! But whoever it belongs to I'm jealous.

I was tempted by the super-charger route myself a month ago - and I phoned my insurance company to see how much it would cost me if I added one. They told me it wouldn't cost me anything - 'cos they wouldn't provide insurance for me anymore!

Awesome!!

Why don't you 'accidently' switch the engines while you're there...?

Guys,

Don't you know that: 'To much power is just enough!'
