Question Option lists?

I've always loved the 964s and had meant to go looking for one last year but instead my wife convinced me to purchase something else. Needless to say it's dull and I'm already tired of it, so now I'm continuing on my plan to find a 964.

What I'm trying to find, and don't seem to have much luck (maybe I'm searching for the wrong subject), is a list of all the options that were available from the factory. And if they differed between C4, C2, coupe and cab. What was added each year. And if anything was deleted during the run.

Thank you.

Try John's web site, it will have much of what you seek.

Good site, and I did find an excellent buying guide. However, I did not find the answers to my questions.

More specifically, I'm finding (mainly dealers, I have to assume they just don't know any better) cars advertised with traction control. Porsche didn't offer traction control for the 964 did they? Unless you consider the C4 traction control

Also I'm finding one or two listed with limited slip. Very rarely though. I was under the impression limited slip was only available on the RSA?

Thumbs up

Scott,
Goto Technical>Specifications and look at the Options section at the bottom of the page.
Cheers,
John

Ahh! Thank you, I wasn't reading that I needed to click the picture to get where I needed to go.

Still not the information I'm looking for, but thank you. Guess I'll have to do further reading.

Scott:

I've posted the 1990 US factory options obtained from a 1990 factory brochure on my website. You're welcome to visit my web site at www.Jays911.com.

Please see page the Specification page for this info. I know it's only one year of info, but...

Good luck,
Jay

Scott,

You can definitely get limited slip on a non-RSA 964 .... it was an option on my car.
