Default Our cars are great

Forgive me for stating the obvious

But sometimes it just strikes me how thoroughly accomplished my C4 is. It is reliable, fast, fun, safe, and it looks great.

Yesterday, as I drove home from skiing, it struck me that all the other fast cars one meets in the Alps during the summer were not around. Only the odd C4 and loads of Cayennes.

How great to have a sports car that is as much at ease in the snow as in the sun.

Take care

Its funny how our cars lead to these types of statements. I often walk into the kitchen from the garage and say to my wife, "damn, I love that car!"

PS. Arjan, take note!

I'll second that opinion, and I certainly do love mine.

Jens, that's something I'll never be able to do with my C2. Plus, I don't think you can get a roof rack for a targa.

This may seem blasphemous in the Porche forum, but I had and Eagle Talon AWD Tsi turbo about 15 years ago. That thing ROCKED as a ski car wearing bridgestone blizzaks. Almost as fast a the P-car, handled well, limited slip not only in the fron and rear diffs but in the front-to-rear transfer case. I didn't think I could afford a Porsche then and there was no one where I lived in Montana to work on a P-car.

Thumbs up

Great pics!
My car isn't quite as clean...
I was driving quite enthusiastically the other day and a Audi Quattro tried to keep up with me.
He eventually caught up with me when I stopped at the gas station.
He said I was either crazy driving a Porsche in the snow like that or a really, really good driver.
I said I was neither crazy nor that good a driver, I also explained what the '4' in Carrera 4 stood for...

Good Lord! Why would anyone wish for snow?? If you really want some, we can swap houses for a few weeks as some warm weather would be great right about now (haven't seen green grass outside since October).
