Instead of 'P-O-R-S-C-H-E',I would like 'R-I-C-E-R' on mine, obviously.

(All IMHO)

Umm, can't decide if it's really cool or really naff. If the former, any other UK owners interested in putting in a bulk order? If the latter, maybe the taste police will put me right...

OK - whether it's cool or not may be open to debate (although I quite liked it).

But - whether Christer is in a position to judge whether it's cool or not...... the man has pinstripe seats for goodness sake!

AHA!

There are 2 of us now, so don't mess with us. In any case I have been thinking about getting new seats, but that's a whole other thread. First thing I need to do is to see which seats my pert bottom fits into. I might stop in at Southbound on the way to Cornwall in a few weeks time.

Well, that's just great - deserting the fold, eh?

Do you know of a guy in Cornwall with a white 964? I met him at the Exeter services last year but my missus wouldn't let me chat for long...

Cheers

Nope, I don't know him but I will keep a look out as usual. Thinking about it, I am usually in Cornwall a couple of times a year and I don't think I have ever seen a 964 down there. Not the most common car in that part of the country I guess.

If you feel the need to advertise you have a Porsche even when there is nothing that looks anything like it on the planet, that is your choice. All I am saying is that it would be very low on my list, underneath clear light covers, cup mirrors, reversing aid, cup holders, CF dash inlays, aluminium look handbrake **** (and gear **** too of course), white dials, red dials, blue dials, door stays, removal of rear seats, re-carpetting rear area, rust bubbles and repair of accident damage. If I ever spend the £4000 or so needed to do all the above, then I might have the PORSCHE thingy on my curtain thingy. Oh wait, no actually it appears on checking my list again that it is also after 'hell freezes over'.

Just do what you want, I am just argumentative thru lack of sleep. It certainly is not going to cost much, but bear in mind you will have to do it every 18 months when your curtain needs replacing...

Well, it was a very tidy car (LHD, I think) and he said a couple of his mates down there had them too. Can't remember where he was from, but I think it was the south side. Seemed a nice bloke.

OK, you've convinced me that the decal is very uncool and I won't go down that path (honest). Remember that I've been without my Porsche for the last month so I'm not thinking straight...

let's ask Jeremy Clarkson, he really knows what is cool...

I think Dave has a point, I am going to leave it here. I'll look forward to seeing his curtain wall on our next drive.

Hmmm. I'm not sure I'll have one by the time we next meet up.....

However, I do have clear indicators and cup mirrors and they are both splendid!
