Regarding the condenser fan speed and how to change the characteristics (increase the speed at low vehicle speeds, decrease at high)...

I'm not an electrical engineer but many in this board seem to be, so here's food for thought:

** The rear spoiler on the 964 activates at ~45MPH, can you feed this signal into some type of relay/diode network that will switch the condenser fan speed inverse to the vehicle speed?

Maybe at above 45MPH you dont't even need the condenser fan on.

Anyway just my two cents...

Regards to all,

Hello

The engineoilcooler has a own temperatureswitch and the AC has the pressureswitch operating the condesor fan.

Those inputs are more definatet the relating to speed. Just imagen you creep up a long hill climp at altilude full load with 30 mph in a low gear and your electronic thinks your speed is relatet to slow cruising on a highway.

At higher driving speeds you wan´t have the fans blowing as this interferes the air stream and wastes power.
