Question Original sales prospect 964 [1992] who has one?

Guys,

I was bidding a couple of times on E-Bay on a Original 964 prospect from 1992.
Every time there is somebody faster then me, and the last time 70US $ was to less.....

Has somebody one cheaper who wants to sell it to me for a "normal" price??

Greetings,

Arjan

Are you looking for an original sales brochure? If yes, contact Walter Miller. His website is www.autolit.com. I bought a sales brochure for my '93, and it was in excellent new condition.

I second Bill's recommendation. Walter Miller has EVERYTHING (well almost). I've ordered a lot of stuff from him and everything has been received quickly and in very good to excellent condition.

[EDIT] All of the factory sales brochures that I have bought from Walter Miller have been $15 (USD) each. Posters from the 964 era are $15-$25 each and they are like new.

Dear Arjan,
I am afraid you have to pay the going rate. I have a pristine 1992 964 sales brochure. It is not for sale but if it was it would be sold to the higest bidder. These things are like rocking horse pooh. I recommend that you visit Old Timer shows. This is where they can often be found.
Ciao,

I bought the 90, 91 and 92 964 brochures and other Porsche US documentation (including a rather nice x-ray mailer sent out when the C4 was new showing the differences under the skin)and a huge P poster of the 92 C4 cab - all on ebay and do not remember paying more than $20-25 a pop. I bought all of this from dphiloxon on eBay (I have no connection with him apart from being a happy customer). He might be worth contacting off line.

I bought a '91 964 catalog from Walter Miller and agree with everything that Bill and Jay said. [no affiliation with Walter Miller]

I also have the 1992 "full product line" catalog (which was given to me by a friend), with the 968, 928 and 911. Reflecting Porsche's then-trend to de-emphasize the 911, the 968 and 928 appear first in the catalog and are given the most space.

Back in March or April I met Steve Kaplan of Porsche Collectibles at a South Florida PCA event and bought a 964 brochure along with some other literature. You can find Steve's contact information in Excellence Magazine (of course you subscribe to that magazine!). He always runs an ad in the Literature & Collectibles section. You can find it on page 158 of the October issue of Excellence.

Thanks Guys,

Today I had my lucky day, on e-bay I found one with 8 days left for bidding.

I used the option 'direct buy'and I got it for 25 Euro's plus shipping.

Thanks for your input,

Arjan
