Searching for brake pads, asap. Seems NOBODY makes a aftermarket rear pad. Anyone have a source for something besides the dusting factory pads? Have looked at several places only to see the rears are 92+ etc.
Any help would be wonderful

Mintex makes THREE different compounds for the rear two-piston calipers that come factory on a 90 and 91 C2. I used a set when I first got my 1991 C2, not bad, didn't last long at the track though! ![EEK!](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/eek.gif)
I used the middle compound, there is a lower compound for the street, look up the Mintex, I forget the catchy name they used for that series of pads, but you can find 'em online.

Or you could switch to a pair of C4 calipers at the rear.......

2 issues,
It is the GF's car and I dont think she wants or needs to spring for the later rear calipers. Heavy duty for this car is crusing at 75mph, lol.
2nd, I used a set of Mintex on my BMW and was highly disappointed in that they dusted more than I like and the dust damaged the wheels when I left them dirty for about 3 weeks. Highly disappointed in them since they didnt dust noticeably less than stock pads. This was supposedly the low dust street version that people like. The cars in question are a 87 635 and 92 M5. Both require weekly wheel cleaning and do not experience hard driving.
Was just wondering what the 91 crowd used for rear pads besides stock. or mintex, lol.
