Default A very cheap 964

Just looked at 911 Virgin - they have a LHD tiptronic 964 C2 for £9,995!

That has to be the cheapest 964 I've seen. I'm wondering if I should get rid of my daily runaround and have a LHD 964 as my daily hack!

When i was looking for my current car i went to 911Virgin and looked at a LHD Tip at 13995/15995 and that was high mileage and in a state and selling on behalf of a customer so lord knows what state one at 9995 will be in . Then again for a hack why not!

Just looked at www.911virgin.com, looks nice on the surface of things.... However, if it was that much of a bargain i'm sure Henry would have bought it himself to sell on, instead of buying on behalf of a customer...?

If I thought I could quickly sell the runaround I'd got I would be seriously tempted. Although I must confess it's quite useful having a daily runaround that has a decent sized boot. A daily runaround with the same space as the weekend car might be a bit silly!

get a grip Dave, apart from the fact that 2 x 964s are not twice as useful as 1 x 964, you will be putting yourself in the hands of fate as regard unexpected and expensive mechanical failure. If you have to go to a regular daily job in the 'daily runabout' then being on -time might also go into the hands of fate.........maybe a more interesting runabout is needed ? old merc or bmw for that rwd feeling in the wet coupled with solid mechanicals and user friendly accommodation for people + baggage ?

FYI, have been trying to sell my 1990 C2 for 4 months now, its in beutiful condition fully serviced, new brakes, AC, fuel pump, startermotor, metallic black, black leather interior, 83,000 kms. Manual.
I cant even get the equivalent of 9,800 quid for it!!!!

Totally gutted!

Dave you could do like me and get a old 60's-70's 230-280SL Mercedes and have the fun of a 2 seat sports car with a back ledge for kids or whatever, great fun and notice factor, huge repair and parts bills and the added bonus of a big trunk! Even comes with aluminum doors and hood for light weight
