C4 differential lock bleeding poll - anyone do it without the hammer?
I am curious how many C4 owners out there have assumed the risk of high pressure brake fluid blasting them in the face, and bled the differential locks WITHOUT the use of the Hammer, and if they were able to do it successfully.
I tried it on my lateral lock, but am not too sure how effective it was, since my red PDAS warning light was triggered at my last race - possibly due to a bad bleed, or maybe just an overheating situation from the hard driving.
In theory I had a good method - activate the traction control program to pressurize the locks, then open the bleeder very slightly to slowly express fluid.
I am curious how many others have done this, and how predictable the outcome was.
