Default caliper rebuild

In email from the 964 group I mentioned that I had split the calipers on my 964 and had them powder coated - was asked to place pictures on this site - as there was some discussion about splitting and not to split the calipers - It seemed to be a rather straight forward project to me -

Well, they look mighty fine to me. Be interesting to see if they perform ok once installed, especially after the remarks the others have given you on Smartgroups.............yes I'm on there as well.

How well will powdercoating cope with high brake temps?

FWIW, the Factory specifically warns against splitting the Brembo-manufactured calipers. "The two halves of the brake caliper must not be separated from each other" and " Do not, under any circumstances, loosen or tighten the screws" (referring to the 4 that hold the calipers together).

Nice shade of yellow powdercoat.
