Since Garrett's now fitted his part, and somewhat closed out the thread this isn't hijacking right? ![Wink](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Hey Anders,
What is that modified intake all about? I've never seen one of those before.

Anders, what a great creation! I actually was going to post a question if anyone had fabricated their own "cup bypass pipe" like you had done. Very well done - is that made of aluminum? Did you fabricate that?

Found this thread, helped me replace this same rubber / plastic shroud - bit more of a PITA with a/c because the two lines essentially rest on top of it. Woulda been a 20 minute job except whoever last was working in the area had cross-threaded the right-most of the three little 10mm bolts
(OK, it's a pain to get it in past the a/c bracket, but honestly!) which meant removing it took ages, could only get an open-end wrench on it, no clearance for a ratchet, and it was TIGHT all the way out. Where's that thread about why I prefer to DIY? Add my name to the list!
Oh, and it was about CDN 40 bucks plus taxes from my independent mechanic. Seemed reasonable compared to some of the stuff I've been buying...
