IIRC, the 18" Speedlines have a 47mm offset and no spacer. I would doublecheck with JC in NY just to be sure. You could also check with rennlist member K964, as he has a Euro Cup with 18" Speedlines.

Yes that is correct. No spacer on the 9.5Jx18 ET47 Speedlines.

I am surprised the 8X18 993 RS Speedlines do not fit the 964 front, I have seen it done!

Lewis,

I am still looking forward to seeing the new car. Yes, I will certainly see you at the track.

I ditched my cup 17's which were the 8x17J and 9.5x17J ( 47mm offset with 21mm spacer on the rear) and went with the Fikses in 8x18 and 9.5x18. The fikses are much lighter and the handling feels crisper on tun in. Rear offset on the fikses was 62mm so I use a 7 mm spacer now instead of the 21. I love the Fikses, but they are $$ pricey ( $3700 for 4). I looked into getting some 18 inch speedlines for the original look, but they are almost impossible to find and very expensive as well (even for a used set). RH makes some close copies of the speedlines that I hear are pretty good, but heavier than the fikses.

Andy,
Here are some pics of the car (with 17" BBS):

Joel at tracktimephotos.com did a couple of 16"x24" posters of these for me. They came out great.

See you next year.

Lewis,
I saw your car at Roebling once, but I think that was when Jim had it. Very nice car !! Are you going to race it ?

carreracup21,
It was Jim at Roebling. He took it there to check it out before Rennsport II. I bought it when he came back from Rennsport II.

No intentions of ever racing, as I am not a competitive person. I enjoy the time alone with my car at DE's.
