Does anyone have a spare cassette holder I can buy as the car I have just bought has one missing,I contacted my OPC and the price they quoted me for this piece of plastic was obsurd.

Paul, I have one. It's in Florida. We're leaving for there tomorrow and won't be there until next Tuesday. It's black plastic and came out of a 964. I could mail it out next Wednesday. Will be out of touch during the trip down so I'll check the forum when I get there. I have no idea what postage would be to England but you can have it for $15 plus freight.

sold mine on ebay for about 10 bucks. They show up on there all the time. I like the simple storage tray better. The tape and CD holder are a bit too high and I kept bumping my arm on it.

For what it's worth: If you simply want the bin and already have the cassette holder, you can remove the cassette holders. They just slide out once you've removed the assembly from the console. Then simply glue a piece of black plastic to the bottom side. Presto! A bin. Virtually free.

Hmm maybe I havent made myself very clear,I was after just a single cassette holder my car came with three in the cassette holder console.I really appreciate all your help and offers especially Don W who offered me the whole cassette console for free but as I just require the one holder I think the whole console would be better off going to someone who really needs it, very generous offer though Don thankyou.I could buy the single holder of Porsche but the price was very silly.

just a thought ........
are they made by porsche or for porsche ?
maybe they are made by fischer or one of the other aftermarket suppliers ?
you could get just the part you need from another car at a scrapyard ??
i take it you just need one of the cd trays

Paul, I actually have two complete cassette assemblies. One out of my 993 and I just put the cupholder swap in my wife's 964, so you are certainly welcome to one of them. What is the cheapest way to ship it. They only weigh like a pound. Don
