GT3RS v. Stock 964
Excellent track day yesterday at Castle Combe! Managed a 720 when I put a wheel on the grass at the second chicane!
Second highlight of the day was a passenger ride in Ken's GT3RS. Awesome grip, cornering and breaking. I knew exaclty where we were going even as a passenger.
Then took Ken out for a session in my standard 964. He loved the rock and roll and the slides - a GT3RS just doesn't let you do that. There's room for a lot of fun in ANY Porsche on the track.
Thanks Ken,
John

I read your post the other day and it made me remember why I sold my 996 and my GT3 Cup car. They are wonderful cars but don't have the feel of the older cars. I use to race a 964 Cup and loved the work out that you got from driving it fast. The new cars will get around the track faster, but your driving style shouldn't include oversteer.
