Window switch replacement questions
I need to replace one of the drivers side window switches-the one for the passenger side. I need help in removing door panel and instructions on replacement of the switch itself.
Thanks from the newbie!!!!!

Stewart,
You do not have to remove the door panel. The switches just pull out from the panel. They are held in place by slide in springs on top & bottom. I most cases you can pull out with finger nail under lip. If yours is tight use a large dull blade (butter knife, etc.) Wires pull off & reinstall same way. If you don't already have Adian's 964 book - buy it - Has all this little stuff in it.

The switches simple pull out of the door panel and there is a quick-connecter behind it...two minute job. A small thin blade screwdriver or the like pushed in from above the switch may encourage it to "let go".
