Default its a SAD day :( 1994 Cabriolet FOR SALE please give me some feedback, thanks!!

So its been a little less than a year and now I must sell my baby since there is another one on the way and I certainly cant afford 2 of them and another car that will hold a baby seat. So wih the help of all you great Rennlisters I can seel this one and then in a year or two (hopefully) I can come back here and pick another one up.

Here are the details....as listed on ebay.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=WDVW

If anyone has any suggestions or ideas for me to sell this car faster or perhaps a better description, please let me know.

I was going to say that I have two and they fit well in the back seats with their child seats.... but I see that you do not have the rear seats... man! nice car. Sorry to hear you have to depart from it...

Default Just a few thoughts as I am shopping for a cab

I have been helping the gf look for a 91-94 C2 coupe or cab.

Just a few comments about your car since you asked. This is all in good humor as I am not slamming your car or ad, but giving you my honost opinion as a shopper looking for a car like yours.

The quoted performance numbers will throw off someone that knows 911's

4.8 0-60??? hmm for a cab? hmmm Turbos have trouble doing that number

Lease maintained? not sure what that means but most folks consider lease cars as applainces and DONT maintain them. I only assume you mean something else as Lease Maintained means very little $$ was spent on the car since it will be somebody elses problem down the road.

Loud exhausts typically turn people off as it is such a personal pref. thing. To me, I would have to ask if the stock exhaust is included or would have to budget buying one.

HID bulbs? no such thing unless you meant HID retrofit which cost $500 & up or do you mean blue tinted bulbs that appear on every other civic on the road? which have been tested to be about 65% as strong as normal headlights?

Again, not meaning to sound sarcastic, but might not mention that on the relist

Given the price of cars we have looked at in the local market (atlanta), not sure how optimistic your buy it now price is. We have looked at 94's with 60k miles for less money.

Again, just an FYI from a buyer in the market and what I thought personally when looking.

I would showcase the cars better points, just mention the top, dont ask for MORE money to fix it etc. I would also not include the buy it now price but just put the reserve where you want it. Again I have no idea of what you want out of the car but with that buy it now price, some people will not bother bidding when they consider it too much for the car given mileage.

KBB private party value is pretty close to what the actual selling prices have been around here from what I am seeing.

I just bought my 1st Porsche (as you can see in my signature)... Just did my shopping... Bought mine on ebay... I wouldn't have even considered yours at all for all the reasons MikefromAtlanta said.... Of course I fully understand it if you REALLY don't want to sell it!

I do appreciate the correction on the stats and they have been further researched and fixed. Prices have been changed and people will be happy ( I think).... relist starts tommorow. So MIKE what are you looking to pay maybe you can just get me to set the BUY IT NOW THERE and you can get it first?

Snow bird...no i REALLY dont want to sell it but its outta my hands. Maybe I was being a little to aggressive on the pricing just for that reason....point well taken.

I feel like a crud for nit-picking but found a few typo's:

For ale today
0-60 5.4conds

Looks good; but, I can't afford two!

Good Luck!

Yes I had some ale to ease the pain of the loss. I will correct errors if I need to relist, there seem to be several interested parties.
But they all may just want to drive one of these beauties!!!!
Will let every one know how I fare. Keep an ear out for anyone who is looking for one of these.
Thanks,
Jason

The market here is is always about fun in the sun, I guess that there are alot of people worried about housing more than extra transportation. But then again, Porsche owners arent always the most logical when it comes to these cars....
