Would the rear shocks with part number Koni 8241-1122 Sport fit on a C4 89? According to Koni`s German site they do not have any rear shocks for the early models. They only have for models 11.9-94.

Koni stopped production of 89-90 rear shocks. Last time I looked into it, Paragon had 1 but could not locate another for me. The newer year shocks have a different length piston and the threaded top is also a different length, (longer i think)

According to the writeup at http://www.porsche964.co.uk/technical/rs_suspension.htm , you may be able to get them to work.
