Default 964 rear axle nut

Couple of quick questions from a newbie:

1) What size is the rear axle nut? 32mm?

2) Will my impact wrench get it off, or will I need a MOAB (mother of all breakerbars)?

Thanks for the help!

Don't remember the size offhand, however, it is torqued to 339 ft lbs.

It is a 32 mm nut. Getting it off can be a real bear, in my experience one out of the four needed the assistance of a torch on the nut to free it. The other three just needed a breaker bar.

Use a GOOD strong impact. It also will not hurt to use a little penetrating lube on it.

Good luck... Oh, and how do you plan to torque it when you are done?
