Question Dead Pedal Question

I have added a set of the aluminum pedals from UlitmatePedals.com. Really like them a lot.

Looked at Rennline and a few others, but decided to opt for these. I'm getting ready to install the dead pedal, but am concerned about what might be lurking below the panel.

Is it relatively safe to drill into the floor at this point? The pedal has two mounting holes on the side also closest to the clutch pedal. These holes would require screws slightly longer than the ones supplied with the set.

Thought I'd check with the experts!!

As always I really appreciate your advice.

Thanks!

Let me rephrase the question..... are there any wire looms, computer boxes, etc. under the left hand driver dead pedal area?

If you remove the left front wheel, and remove the plastic inner fender moulding, I think you'll find that the dead pedal area is immediately behind the sheet metal.

You will not be dissapointed from the pedals. I have never experienced such an amount of friction between my shoes and the pedal surface. Mine are made from the same company. I do not have the dead pedal. I wonder if it fits without any problem?
Cheers
