Signing off with regret and selling C-2 Cab
Guys, I have thoroughly enjoyed the 964 forum. Phil Raby is right: it is the friendliest of all.
A 996 Cab is now the family week-ender and so the near-mint 1990 964 Cabrio is for sale in the local paper. Only reason for going with 996 is the three-point rear seatbelts and the pop-up rollbars for my two kids in back. Simply love the 964 for its sheer quality (build and materials used--ever noticed the factory caulking on the seams underneath the trunk lid? Nothing was skipped on the 964 IMHO). Add its pure form combined with modern technology and you have one of the best 911's ever.
Hope my car will go to someone that will love it as much as I have. If anyone is interested, feel free to email me for the details.

Thanks Chris! In fact, this week I have been driving the 996 everyday just for fun. About 600 miles. I have been tempted to get back in the 964 and take it out as well, but it is perfectly clean right now...
