On this day I am finding myself at the back of the engine looking at the cable for " the cylinder temp sensor " wanting to test it through measuring of its resistance (when very cold )
1) Is the cable going into the bracket or the cable in the bracket itself the cable directly going to the sensor ?
2) There are three contact in this connection. Which of them (please) need to be tested for "observing" resistance middle and side or the sides alone ...
I am trying to test this before going through the process of removing the sensor in the first place and "overall" possible cause of cold start issue ( a much broader topic with many angles )
Thank you !!! You are so right, I had found your directions a couple days ago and is so much easier
Used the opportunity in cleaning all the electrical connections just to make myself feel better for having taken all those things out trying to get to the source .
Good news is - it’s within tolerance and working since removing it didn’t seem super exciting ….
