not TT here...but michelle his better half (i'll be accused of forum stalking now).
if you check the britax website they will give you details of carseats that supposidly will fit youre car.
Ive copied the britax seat recommendations for a 911 (it does'nt accept 964/993/996)
The car manufacturer you selected is: Porsche
Car Model
Car Specification
From
To
Britax Child Seat
911/944 2 Door 1990 1995 Babysure
911/944 2 Door 1990 1995 Club Class Extra
911/944 2 Door 1990 1995 Elite
911/944 2 Door 1990 1995 Freeway
911/944 2 Door 1990 1995 Rock-a-Tot
911/944 2 Door 1990 1995 Rock-a-Tot Deluxe
We have a britax freeway but have'nt tried it in the back of the porsche (as we now have no back seats lol) so i cannot say how good a fit it is. It may be worth a trip to halfords as they do a really good car seat fitting service.

Hi there. I took my '90 C2 to Halfords 3 weeks ago to do just that. Unfortunately the seats they thought would fit into the back wouldn't. The problem was the stalk for the seat belt was too long, ie the seat itself sat snugly in the available space, but the stalk places the seat belt catch too high for the belt to attach to - and to tighten up. Not easy to explain without pictures, but essentially it means you cannot hold the child seat by tightening the seat belt, as per usual.
If anyone knows a solution to this, or anyone else has a Porsche Prince, I would be very keen to talk! My wife is getting a little fed up travelling in the back, with the dog(a pointer, so not small!) More importantly my 19 month old daughter is getting very fond of sitting in the front, and will not make the transition to the back easily if we don't find a seat soon!!!
Thanks
Julian

Thanks Michelle
The US site does not have that feature. Britax does not have the same product line in the US as the UK but we are going to look at the Britax Roundabout.
I'm not sure what Halfords is but I think it may be a long way for me to go
