A full website is coming soon at www.findaporsche.com but in the meantime there's a holding page with my contact details on. Do get in touch if you'd like to know more.....
And a bit later this week - you will find a link from the Rennlist Classifieds for Phil's Locator service and other places within the Rennlist site.... It may take a day or three (look how long it took me to get the 964 Desktop Gallery up??!!! ), but I'd like to pre-announce Phil and his efforts as a Rennlist Sponsor......

Watch for the "official" post in a few days, which I'll post as an ADMIN at the top of this Forum for a bit....

And Phil - best of luck with this venture - and our thanks!!!

Does this mean we have to be deferential and nice to Phil?

Again, all the best Phil with this and nice touch becoming an official Rennlist Sponsor!

Were did you get lucozade in Texas ???? I can imagine the taste still surprisingly!! Did it have the familiar old orange cellophane wrapped around it?

The English Pub near Tom. W's has Iron Bru and fizzy Vimpto for sale..no lucozade though! Some time ago they even had Maynards Winegums...

They had two bottles in the local Tom Thumb. Not getting any more in though. No longer have the cellophane - now have a plastic skin label like the other soft drinks.

Iron Bru and Vimto - now you are talking. Any Dandelion & Burdock? Now that is a taste that comes straight back to me!

Vimto! UGH!

I HATE that stuff. I can never believe you're actually meant to drink it. It is the cod liver oil of beverages!

Talking of Lucozade - when we first bought the pharmacy (1989), we had some in the window for a while and it turned green. There was one customer who always asked for 'the green lucozade - I can't get it anywhere else'. Seems he just got a taste for it!

He's dead now, of course...

Vimto - Not as bad as Dr Pepper surely. It always reminds me of mouthwash!!

Gosh, this thread is turning very unhealthy with all this talk of chocolate and fizzy drinks. Did you know a can of fat Coke has 21 spoons of sugar in it...

thanks also for the good wishes - much appreciated.

Cheers

Actually, I think people have a complete mis-conception about healthy / unhealthy. Many of the people I work with do sporty stuff (football and all that kind of thing). Hardly a week goes by when one of them isn't limping, briused, pulled a muscle etc. etc.

I have never ever hurt myself by sitting on the sofa eating chocolate, drinking teeth-rotting-coke and watching TV. It's much heathier than exercise!
