No LHS interior fan
RHS works OK, but I don't think the LHS interior fan has worked for a while. This is true for screen demister and vents. They don't seem to have separate fuses - so any ideas? Or has the motor just died?

if its the fan you may want to get somebody else to do it!, when I had the same problem removing the little clips then putting them back on (not to mention moving half the contents of the front of the car to get to it)almost drove me sane.

Hey Dave,
I'm not sure exactly why your fan isn't functional. I think (but I'm not sure) their normal mode of failure is seizing/binding, which blows the fuse. And, you're right, the fans don't have individual fuses. In fact, the CCU & interior fans share the same fuse/power supply.
It's possible the final stage regulator has failed for your left fan. Or, the CCU isn't sending a signal to run the fan. If you can find the power lines to your left fan, you could attempt supplying 12V directly to the fan. Actually, that would be placing 12V at where the red wire goes into the fan, grounding the connection for the BR/RE wire. For good measure, I would put a (say) 15A fuse in your jumper wire., if you're pulling directly from the battery. Of, even if tapping straight into the red wire to the fan--which is "always hot" 12V, with a 25A fuse.
Hope this helps....

Thanks Randall.
I'm assuming that the fan power is likely to be in the luggage compartment, under the plastic cover and tucked down by the heater hoses etc.?
Actually - I've just had a thought. Maybe I should check the hoses etc. and make sure I'm not losing the air some other way.
