Just saw this via my BAT preferences emails. I've never paid much attention to 964 cabs for a few subjective reasons, though this one is just lovely. The modification may not appeal to everyone, but I think the seller nailed the exterior...

We have all seen some recent high Cabriolet sales on BAT. All relate to low miles.
Took me 18 months to sell my lowered 93 Cab with Rotiforms. Not that the seller cares.
Just general discussion.

 

I thought there was an ad in marketplace earlier. There was a PCA video about this car.

964 cab

 

Beautiful with the top down.

 

Ride height is impractical.

 

I drive something just as low, if not lower, in NY. It's not that bad. You do have to use some angles getting in/out.

 

Although the seller publicly bashed me on social media cause he doesn't believe in Porsche 965 verses 964 Turbos... Doesn't effect my opinion
of modified 964 cabs that I have always liked. Glad to see the market payS a good price for a 100,000 mile 964 CAB

Glad to see there was a decent bidding war on this cab - I think the $83K+fees was fair for both.

 

I think that's big money for a car that was basically wheels, lowered, and a muffler w/ some nice seat inserts. It wasn't too far from stock. Seemed like a great deal for seller.

I noticed that, too. Kind of loses the 911's practicality. I've never scraped mine and our driveway isn't exactly sports car-friendly.

 

Never scrapes ever, watch the PCA review. I drove this in the mountains regularly.
