The Manthey technician considers a problem with Rob's car.

The diagnosis?... The steering wheel is missing. This explains Rob's trouble with finding the right line...

At the 'Ring museum.

A sudden, heavy meteorite shower nearly ruined the entire trip...

Rob and I on top of the Nurburg fortress.

'Use the self-timer', says Rob, 'Sixty seconds is plenty of time to get up there!'

Puff, pant, gasp...

Excellent photos - thanks John. Spoke to Rob today and he said you'd all had a great time. Must go myself one day.

John - Brilliant!

Phil - ha ha

Other Rennlisters - this was indeed a fabulous trip. Great meeting Arjan and Christer too. 172 mph indicated (162mph on the gps) was pretty impressive too for a 12 year old car...

PS - John and Paula Boggiano are truly great people and a real pleasure to be with for a week. Thank you both for a great holiday.

Excellent pictures and the captions provided the best laugh off the day!

Is that Rob's car to the right of the tree (level with his elbows)?

Thanks for sharing your adventures with us!

Is that wrecked blue car the same as the car sitting in the middle Matheny's shop.

While people have rediscovered how to say nice things about eachother, I'd just like to thank Rob for being a top bloke.

Nice guy, friendly, amusing and helpful. And Rob is much the same.

Seriously, you pitched the level of helpfulness, patience and good humour just right. We would not and could not have done it without you. Paula and I felt a bit lost once you had left.

Then again, that could just be because YOU had the SatNav!

Doug, - No, it's not the same car, but both are Manthey cars.

What a place! Clinically clean, so well equipped. Mouthwatering cars.

Howard, no, it's not a 911, but it IS a roof!
