Default 964 Hood Differences

I’m repairing a 964 and I hit an obstacle. I’ve attached two photos and need some help. I believe the hoods differ between the 911 and the 964 models. The fenders appear more curved and narrower compared to the hood. I’m attempting to determine if these differences are genuine or if I’ve made a mistake.

What fenders are those? Not 964.

They are the same as earlier cars for the most part. I have a SC hood on my 964.

The hood is interchangeable between a 911 (short hood) and a 964 with standard fenders.
If the fenders are original, perhaps the Flachbau used a different hood?

Even the 993 hood has the same curve (it has washer nozzle holes).
In the first picture, the hood is obviously bent

There is a slight difference in length over the 911 and 964 but its only about 5mm and can be made to fit. Curve is the same though.

Source for that info? I fitted a 993 alloy lid on my '76 Carrera 3, no size difference (yes I measured before welding/painting it).

Yep, you were right. That was the issue. We tried a different hood.

So are you restoring a flachbau or building a clone? If so where did you source factory flachbau fenders? I thought they were NLA?
