changing spoiler wall
I just changed my spoiler wall, and have a long, thin rubber list left over that didn't fit anywhere. The part number begins with 993, so I suspect the Porsche dealer sold it to me by mistake.
Does anyone know if the 964 differs from the 993 in the way the spoiler wall attached to the engine lid?

The 993 spoiler wall is the same as 964. Thus the part number starting with 993 is correct (99351212100). Here's a DIY link. http://p-car.com/diy/spoilerwall/

I had no problem attaching the spoiler wall, and the spoiler seems to be working fine. But I couldn't fit the rubber list anywhere. It is the one on the first picture in the DIY guide on P-Car.
Do you know where that one goes?

Nope. The first picture in the P-Car DIY guide is of a flexible rubber list. I got one along with the spoiler wall when ordering the necessary pieces from my local Porsche dealer.
I suspect that it is used to attach the lover part of the spoiler wall to the engine lid on a 993
On my 964 the spoiler wall attaches to a flexible rubber "curtain", which is attached to the engine lid.
