Come on Phil, you need to buy another 964. Its been at least a fortnight since you last owned one. No more looking at Seinfeld blue 993s, buy a 964 and lyposuct it.

I read this topi for the first time today and I wonder..........

Why dyno a 285 HP car???? That's nothing special. Either it is for collecting any [important for other reasons] data or you want to get rid of your money.
Dyno a car is not cheap, so for the small HP improvement it is not worth the investment I think. But from here...... it's your choice.

I can imagine that Christer would do a dyno after the huge investments on his engine, but you Adrian, I would take your Gail for a nice dinner instead.

4-5000USD is more than a dinner surely? (even in Switzerland)

That much????? I guess they install the engine on a water brake dyno then, I thought they would test his car on a tester where the complete car is tested, so including drivetrain. Then I guess he get's the test for free, otherwise I would neeeever do such a hughe investment for a stock engine........

Arjan

This sounds like a quality upgrade by a well known tuner, so the price is probably well justified. My point was why not get a reading from the dyno before any work was done...but anyway the subject is closed so we just have to wait!

I looked at the web site and for $5400USD you get a hot film air sensor, air-cleaner and a catalytic converter bypass or hiflow cat? Am I missing something?

I keep saying be patient and you will see what the kit entails.
This speculation stuff is very unhelpful, misleading, potentially damaging and I am I not quite sure why it is going on. Most of this is coming out of the UK as well. Am I missing something here?
Ciao,

PS: Check out the price of sports cat approved for Swiss installation which meets emissions requirements. I live in a country which has strict exhaust and noise emissions requirements which must be met as part of the modification.

I have to rely on a software based language translation of their website thats why I'm asking. Besides what I listed previously is there anything else listed on their website? The reason people are speculating is because of the (possible) lack of information.

Dear Jason,
What I do not understand is that I ask a number of times for people to wait and see the whole modification unfold. Why can this not be honoured?
There is something going on here that I am not warming to. I think I shall leave you all to it for a while.

Adrian,

Paranoia aside, if you read your original post it does sound rather look at me and what I'm going to do.
It would have been wiser with hindsight to just post after the event, or provide more of the details that have seemingly been levered from you enroute, I must admit that you lack the english sense of humour, yet expext others to accept your rather terse replies, do yourself a favour and come back to read the replies after 2-3 days, I'm sure you'll read them differently,
Your smartgroups replies show a rather immature approach I'm afraid, this is not a critisim, but an observation, and yes I am qualified to make that judgement I have a post graduate degree in such studies...(Surrey University)
As I say, come back in a few days and read the replies again, I read them as helpfull, not insulting, I guess that you just expected a different response than which you recieved, and that has caught you off guard.......

sit down and relax.......

kevin.
