Default Connector identification.

I found this connector inside my 1990 c4 center console behind the switches.
wondering what is this connector for?
is it ok to remove the green wire that short the tow pins?
thanks

I guess your car don't have airbags ?
this plug will go an airbag ecu.
From memory the little blue wire is re connecting to the main ECU . If removed the car will not start.

In deed, it doesn't come with airbag.
I try to search the connector part number, but not much useful result of it at all.
If that is for the airbag, then I think I can just leave it as it is.
Thanks
