I just bought my first air-cooled 911, a 964 Carrera 2, that has the emblem of 911 with a chrome finish. I never see this emblem on 964 except the C4 turbo-look jubilee. I guess it should be a black "Carrera 2".
What's the original emblem on 964 Carrera 2? I want to restore it

When you watch the detail videos by people like IAM detailing they make a template out of painters tape when they remove a badge so they know where it goes back. If you get no answers I bet they could help.
For what it’s worth, I like the 911 badge!

I killed two stones with one bird - If your 964 is a Carrera 2, that is the correct badge and the correct placement.
