Default Shift **** Under Leather
Does anyone have an image of the stock shift **** and lever under the stock leather boot? Can one simply leave it exposed and throw on a new **** and boot?

Abe, have a look at this Thread

You can remove the boot by pressing down gently on the left side. There are two metal pressure clips on the left side that retain the boot. When reinstalling simply stuff the right side back into the channel, and then pull the left side back up against the pressure clips.
