Talking 100,000miles and 100mph

Just thought I would share this.

Turned 100,000miles on the odo tonight and managed to hit 100mph while it turned over

Well actually red lined in 3rd so registered about 110mph (I know the speedo over reads a bit).

Congratulations Richard, I too turned 100,000miles a couple of weeks ago.

I find if I drive at 62mph when I look down at the odo it looks like I've only got 1000 miles on the clock!

It is actually quite strange to look at the odo and see lots of zeros after looking a line virtually full of numbers for 4 years.
Its like starting all over again!!

Richard.

Yes! Mine hit 50,000 and I've never seen so many zeros on a car!!! It was fun - but lasted only for a minute!!

Mine ticked over 150,000 whilst going round Arnage a couple of Friday's ago at Le Mans. A memorable occasion, largely owing to the location.

Car and Driver's test result was 13.6sec @ 104mph for the standing 1/4 mile back then so 15+ is not out of the question.

Richard.
