Default think I broke something

Last saturday I took my C4 out for a run with a few friends and was driving her really hard throughout the day. After a few burst(dropping the gears, blipping the thottle to match the gears rpm from 4th to 3rd then slamming on the gas) the car didn't feel the same. Now everytime that I shift gears without blipping the throttle, I hear and feel a slight clonk coming from the shifter. But if I drive her like a race car, you cant notice anything wrong. Also, after pressing on the gas and then letting it go and pressing on it again, I would feel a slight hesitation before it'll catch. I know, I abused her and now i have to face the consequences. Lesson learned here_never try to launch a C4 from a stand still or while rolling. Anyone have any ideas whats going on with my car? Should I be concern(lose sleep)? Im so pissed at myself.

Vove,

I track and autocross my car a couple times a month and I'd be surprised if the workout you put yours through resulted in serious damage. At the track, I blast it to the redline, jump on the brakes, blip, downshift and dump the clutch about 50 times in a 25 minute session--and I don't baby her.

When was the last time the transmission oil was replaced?

I think your clutch is the problem here, I think it comes not free under heat. Please bleed the hydraulic first, and then try again.

I'm with Arjan on that one - bleed the clutch system then see if the problem still exists - go for the easiest thing first!

vove,

Because the Clutch, brakes, TC etc all share the same fluid, you may need a Bosch Hammer to bleed the clutch.
