I recently replaced the pressure switch on the hydraulic pump but currently having issues with getting the pump to kick on when the key is turned to the on position. The pump still works because when I did a bench test the pump does kick on. I tried replacing the r51 relay but still no luck, once the key is turned to the on position the 40 amp relay keeps popping. I have multiple r51 relays on hand but the same results keep occurring. What could cause the 40 amp relay to keep popping? I also checked the connector that goes to the pump but there are not 12 volts going to the pump when the key is on, I am assuming there should be 12 volts going to the pump? Would this be a relay or wiring issue?
