I just know I wanted 'em but they are bloody expensive! I got a cheap temporary set for 20 quid off Ebay and bought some Aero mirrors instead! Maybe I can add them to my xmas list!

I think thats what prompted the post Rob! JD posted about it some time ago and John. B recommended the no turns.
I think Kirk is looking for a first-hand account of how they look and work.
Cheers,

That's a lot of money for those. They remind me of those 50" wheels on Cadillac Escalades that spin while the car is stopped - is this a new trend??? Soon there will be no-turn wheels??

The new Rolls Royce has centre caps that always remain the right way up. Cool on that car but I suspect not on any other.
Those chromed spinning covers are hideous - popular with the boyracers. Imagine what they do to your unsprung weight...

Yeah, I talked to my brother and his friend (some hollywood dude) has a new bentley that has "no spin" emblems in the wheels! Very fancy!
Never bothered me to see the emblems facing a varied direction...

I think the no-turns on the Rennlist direct site could actually be very cool. I dont think you would notice them on a car thats moving. And only if you really thought about it would you realizewhen the car was stationary that there was a reason other than coincidence (that the car came to rest that way) keeping the crests the right way up! Nice discreet, subtle presentation!
The Escalade on the other hand has the huge chrome full wheel size cover thingies that keep spinning when the car is at a stop...nasty cheap bling!! Yeauck..the mere thought is nauseating!

I, for one, welcome our new, wheels-spinning while stationary overlords! On an Escalade, which weighs roughly A BILLION POUNDS! I don't really think anyone is worried about unsprung weight. I've caught myself many times, sitting at a stop light and watching the wheel spinners on the Bling-mobile next to me, doing their thing and thinking, "that's pretty cool!" I've got a Jag XJR with stock 18" rims and, if it weren't a hot rod, I'd think about getting them for it. But it is really fast and weight would be an issue for me. I don't see the problem with these spinners, though. If you are driving an Escalade, rather than a Tahoe, the spinner rims just go the extra mile in accomplishing your goal... to show everyone that you have plenty of $$$ and you are not afraid to use it on things with no REAL value! I'm all about having fun with your money, though.
