Hello

Under the front bumper of a '91 964 is a black hard plastic guard, it seems to be bolted into the bumper of the car.

Is this something that I can purchase online or is this a delaer only part and have to go the a nearest porsche dealer and order it?

You should be able to buy them from your local independent parts shop. It comes in 2 halves.

I replaced these two plastic pieces a year ago for cosmetic reasons. It's pretty easy and straight forward. I believe I paid about $168 per side at my local Porsche dealer (though I received a 20% discount from that price...).

I replaced these late last year. I bought from Pelican Parts for $120 apiece. The part#'s are:
