This thing has a deep red color and nice mirror like finish now.

Not bad for a 90. It is unbelieveable how much I like this car, especially compared to its dailey competition. I was thinking about repainting the front cap, but I took an orbital to the hood last weekend and finally found a wax that worked really well on this paint. I have tried maybe 10 different waxes and always ended up with streaking and cloudy swirls. Looks like I maybe able to hold out on the repaint thanks to the P21s.

Is that a new roof? Is it a 993 roof?

That certainly looks great Doug. You can even see the front wheel in the door reflection. Very nice.

cheers

Thanks. I was really getting concerned that a re-spray was in order soon. These new products definitely took the painting issue of the table for now. Makes me and my wallet happy.

Wow, great looking finish. I purschased a P21s kit about a year or so ago from http://www.carcareonline.com/ and it has been just sitting in the shelf.... time to take it out and spend some time giving some TLC to my car...

You have inspired me. LOL

BTW, I found the next change/mod for your car. Replace the door handles with those of the 993/968.

Very Nice Doug

I just got a guards red c2 cab yesterday, and it's faded a bit, I know it needs some help. Was there a specific product you used to get rid of some of the oxidation?

Check out the P21s products. I also like the McQuires # 7 polish. It seems to do a good job. I just could not find a wax that worked really well to use after the polishing.

I also really like the P21S Concours Look Wax and the P21S Gloss Enhancing Paintwork Cleaner is a joy to use and really works well as a prep for the P21S. Nice stuff...
