Default Silver hood crest for a 964

Pelican Parts (and others) sell silver hood crests for 993/996 cars. I want to put a silver hood crest on my 91 black C2 I just bought. Has anyone tried to fit the later model hoood crests to a 964? , or does anyone have any suggestions? TIA

Thanks. I'll check it out, but I think these are the ones that Ralph Boothe makes which means they are probably the ones that everyone else sells because Ralph has the license for them. Don

Put one on a few months back...posted about it as well if you search - pics dont work out as reflections make it look gold - looks excellent though and was well worth the rather high (IMO) price I paid! its a much more understated, tasteful look (IMO once again)!

Fits absolutely PERFECTLY!!!!!!!!!!

FYI - Rubber gasket is a pig - hairdryer to expand before fitting is the trick!

Glad to hear that it fits. Yeah, I know about the gasket. I put it hot water to make it more pliable. Thanks for the info. Don
