I purchased my 964 a bit of two years ago on BaT from the 3rd owner. When I purchased the car the last thing he told me was that the car had LEDs in it. On the drive home I noticed I only had one light setting. I didn't think much of it and had not been on the top of my list of things to figure out. I had a headlight go out recently and figured I'd replace with the set of Morimoto headlights. Upon taking out the headlights I have found that there was definitely "work" done to the system. There is just two wires plugged into the headlights. On the inside of the frunk there is a relay on each side with wires running to them. Has anyone seen this setup?
I'm in the process of chasing a high beam issue with mine. One side turns on when activated and other is one when not....I'm pretty sure there is work there as well.
Thanks for the tip! I'm betting I'm going to have to go back and chase the whole wiring from start to finish. Maybe I'll just sell the Morimoto and keep the h5 with HID bulbs

I moved away from my H5's with LED bulbs to Audette's Gold Series head lights which is what prompted me to delve deeper into the high beam issue i was having. Even though I don't drive at night much. The H5's are just terrible
Do you have a pic of the other end of the harness that connects to the bulb? do you have a ground wire?
I live in Seattle and in the winter like now it gets light at 830(ish) and dark at 330. It's almost impossible not to drive in the dark in the winter here. In addition, I just had PRK eye surgery the day before Christmas so I definitely needed Very good headlights even when it's dusk.
I'll try to figure this out when I actually have some time. My eyes are just finally adjusting where I can see detailed images up close.
Totally feel you there. I'm no stranger to eye related issues myself. Removed a cataract in my right eye and have astigmatism. So dusk/Night driving is huge a challenge. Definitely keep the Morimoto headlights and trace the issue when you have a chance. Best of luck! Hope you can get it all sorted out.
