The floor behind the passenger seat appears weak- it flexes when I push on it. The seat mount is fine. no movement. No holes, some cracks in surface. Any suggestions, on what this is. Can this be reinforced?
Thanks

Ian,
It is the floor behind the front seat. Where you feet would be if you were seated in the rear.
Also it is on my 911SC not my 964.
Any thoughts thanks again.

yes, I can flex an area of about 6 inches square. Flexes about 1/2 inch.
The cracks appear to surround the area that can be moved. It still appears to be strong, but ill it get worse, is the question. And can / should I do soemthing preventive now?
thanks

That is not the floor it is as already stated the sound proofing. Yes you can do something like I did, rip it out. You can purchase at extremely high prices a full replacement package but I did not. I just removed it all and left it out. Where feet sit (nobody goes inthe back of mine anyway) I replaced with lightweight foam.
The original sound proofing is the greatest sponge and water retention device known to man.
