I still think they're very nice looking wheels. Which proves that :

a) If you think they're a bit Bling, then you have no taste

b) They won't suit your car

Yeah, i obviously like the styles - they just look a little more chrome than I remember....maybe it is just the light?

the center caps fit, although mine are off the original D90's and are at least 13 years old so I shoul dget some new ones. oh and some seriously strong locks on the wheel nuts. All of them.

I think it's your eyes - chrome type shine would definitely look "bling" - but these just look kind of polished aluminium to me. Look nice.

You definitely do need coloured centre caps (and - on a different subject - teardrop mirrors!).

It would be more reliable and cheaper to maintain though. I reckon if you fitted them before you collect the car, the bill from 9M would only be £1.75.

ok, so latest word from 9M is that the parts have arrived and its full speed ahead. if cam timing is completed today, then one more day to complete the build and another few hours to pop the engine back in the car with the other bits (LSD and LWF etc).

Apparently we are using a 993 plastic intake with the (oh sh*t, i forgot what it was called now) throttle something built in which the Motec needs for optimum operation. I am soooo technically challenged. More next week I guess!
