Default Tire Recommendations for Cup 1 on Targa

I am sure this question been asked many times. what are the tire recommendations with Cup 1 RSA wheels on 1990 Targa? haven't decided on suspensions but currently on Bilstein. wheels are standard RS 7 front and 8 rear.

Depending on what you want and how much to spend the Michelin MPS4S's are #1 IMO for a pure summer street tire or the Conti DWS for all season. I have used the Conti on my Cayenne, Macan and 928GTS. It is a great all around tire if you plan to drive it in most weather conditions. Both are relatively quiet and less harsh ride than the Pirelli's. We put the DWS's on a friends targa and he loves them.

If the MPS4S isn't available in the size you want, the Continental ExtremeContact Sport is a good alternative.

Forgot about that. I believe that is why we went with the DWS. They aren't far off the ExtremeContact sport for summer performance and can be driven in colder weather.

Thank you, mostly summer driving. Recommendation size are 205/50 front and 255/40 rear. Is this correct?
