Default How to keep Cap for Bumper Guard from falling out?

The little rubber cap for the bumper guard (part no. 964-505-263-00) falls out and gets lost. These parts cost about $12/cap and they get lost within a week of installing them. I am sure others are having the same issue. It is easy to think of multiple solutions to this problem, but I am posting to see if anyone has a niece, clean solution that has proven to work well.

Here is the link to a photo of the part: https://www.pelicanparts.com/More_In...63-00-01C-M260

I’m pretty sure I glued one of mine in place. It’s held for maybe 7 rears now.

Use shoe goo. It will be permanent until you need it removed and then will pull right off.

Thanks for the replies. My mechanic suggested using silicone glue. Do you thin shoe goo is better than silicone?
