Has anyone run into a 964 compatible system diagnosis tool? The Bosch system tester 9288 tool is as rare as hens teeth.

Baum tools sells a unit that will read the 964, but you will be out close to $4,000, and you will not have all the functions as the Bosch tools. There is a UK KTS 500 on eBay right now. You occasionally see Bosch KTS 300 (updated 9288) on eBay and elsewhere. I watched for two years and saw units changing hands between $1300 (looked rough) to $2000 for a very nice one. If you search the Rennlist, you will see threads about getting a PC to talk to the on-board systems. That is the holy grail, and there are some indications that software will be offered for sale soon.

I am willing to lease mine for a nominal weekly rate, but I need a cash deposit equal to full value. I will refund as soon as the unit is returned unharmed.
