Far too understated for my taste...
Why not simply mount an upside down 747 on it...

Why destroy perfectly designed cars to build somebody's interpretation.
At the end of the day they are going to be modified worthless cars and originals will prevail.
They should build their own chassis

Looks awesome to me. Different strokes for different folks. And they seem to have the customer base.

A lot of you guys seem old. Fashion, cars, etc. everything comes full circle. What's old is new again and the cycle no doubt will continue long after we're gone.

Not to my taste. I thought the previous Singer was one of the most beautiful interpretations of a classic air cooled 911 ever, setting aside that it bums me out that they used 964s as the donor car.
This new car....not for me. On the plus side, at least they did not go full 80's coke dealer and throw a slant nose on it.

The DLS and Turbo Study are amazing reinterpretations. But this thing is an abomination...wing or no wing...RUF RSR done for the modern restomod crowd.
Anyone else thinking back-back dating restomods back might be a good business to get into??

I'm not really a fan of Singers in general. Some of their other designs are nice enough, but for the money I'd rather have a real ST than a car which kinda looks like one.
I've sat in Canepa's 934.5 and if I wanted an insane race car, I'd want that - the actual insane race car. Having a car that looks like it was inspired by that and then opening it up to find woven leather seats is just strange as hell to me. And the one without the wing? That one just looks like a dog's breakfast.
Having said all that, they will sell all of them and I'm sure the owners will be very happy with them.

Ok so maybe my 8yo nephew would love it. But he also loves lambos with pop up doors. Not sure he's yet developed a point of view on 'taste and style and fashion' Maybe that is singers target here?

Singer will at some point 'jump the shark', but I'm not sure it will be this model. When they add water skis to the roof of the next study, they will have officially jumped the shark.
For people with the money and wanting the latest, wild thing, this is the ticket. Gunthers come to mind - I'm not a huge fan, finding them somewhat bloated and ill-proportioned, but the details and finish are rather good. But the crowds gather around them every single time. One of these 935s would draw so much attention the first time out, it would be hard to get a good look at it. We're also the one group that is sensitive to the origin of the car. Outside of the immediate 964 crowd, the concern will certainly drop. Outside of the Porsche world, I seriously doubt most even give it a second thought. They made 34k, give or take, coupes overall? Singer made 250 original Singers, 20 or so DLSs, and plan to make 250 Turbos. Even if they make 250 of this 935 model, we're still well under 1000 coupes used. That's less than 3%.
On the plus side, Singer (and some others) have brought great attention to the 964 and this will only make the models that we own more valuable. I get that it's now harder to get into one, but i don't think this played out that badly for any of us.

They made far less than 34k copes that qualify as a singer. If you start chopping up RS and WB cars maybe we will cover that number. So few donors qualify these days as most anything out there is either a garage queen for stupid money or has accident history which they won't touch. Then add all the other backdates and modded cars crashed and parted out and the numbers dwindle quickly.
Make me a perfect clone of Seinfeld's #4 Martini racer I posted above and I would be all over that. This concept stuff is getting boring.
Funny we have a lot of singers by me and stock 964's get equal if not more attention. Being under one and going through them as closely as I have , granted earlier builds, I wonder why so much to build? I don't see it in the workmanship and the carbon fiber bleeding through the paint was acceptable in the 80's for an F40 but not a million dollar modern car.
