hello,

I have 1990 c2 with washer tank for windshield only. the plastic drain cap kind of clear or white is cracking. tank is located in left fender. tried to order plug but got wrong setup. can any one help with correct p/n. the cap screws on and there is an allen hex in the middle to assist in removal and installation. you need allen tool to remove. any help would be aprreciated. thanks

My cap cracked and when I found out the cost to replace the cap from Porsche (i.e. I think it was something like 10 or 20 dollars Canadian) I got resourceful and replaced it witha cap off a shampoo container. That was about 3 years ago and no leaks.

they discontinued my tank and new tank no longer has drain plug. went to dollar store and bought sample shampoo and the cap fits perfect. this is probably the cheapest part I bought to date. great idea !!!!!!!!
